Magnetic double resonance studies of silylaminodifluorophosphine and some related amines

Abstract

Homonuclear and heteronuclear double resonance techniques have been used to determine the relative signs of coupling constants involving 1H, 16N, 19F, 29Si, and 31P in 16N-enriched aminodifluorophosphine. Silylaminodifluorophosphine, disilylamine, and trisilylamine. The magnitudes of coupling constants not observable in 1H or 19F spectra, and 15N, 29Si, and 31P chemical shifts, have also been determined in these experiments. Assuming 1K(NH) and 1K(SiH) to be positive, and 1K(PF) to be negative, the absolute signs of the coupling constants have been deduced.
