Aza analogues of nucleic acid constituents: the crystal structures of 6-azauracil and 6-azathymine

Abstract

6-Azauracil and 6-azathymine have different hydrogen bonding schemes, but in both cases every available atom except N(6) is involved in the hydrogen bonding.
