Fungicide residues. Part III. The determination of residues of binapacryl in selected fruits by gas chromatography

Abstract

A simple method for determining residues of binapacryl in selected fruits is presented. After extraction with a mixture of hexane, diethyl ether and dimethylformamide, binapacryl is separated from interfering co-extractives by chromatography on a silica gel column and is quantitatively determined by electron-capture gas-liquid chromatography. A confirmatory chemical test for binapacryl is also described.
