SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
The title compounds have been prepared and the conformational equilibria for the oxiran and thiiran (4, 5; a ⇌ b) elucidated by electric dipole moment measurements. The relative steric requirements of CH2-groups and of O- and S-atoms in three membered rings are discussed.
