Derivatives of 6,11-dihydropyrrolo[1,2-b][2,5]benzodiazocine

Abstract

Cyclisation of 1-(2-acylaminomethylbenzyl)pyrroles by the action of phosphoryl chloride led to 6,11-dihydro-pyrrolo[1,2-b][2,5] benzodiazocine derivatives. The parent nucleus was synthesised through the alkaline hydrolysis of 1-(2-acetamidomethylbenzyl)pyrrole-2-carbaldehyde.
