Polypeptides. Part XX. The synthesis of some diastereoisomeric poly-(γ-benzyl glutamate)s

Abstract

Four sequential diastereoisomeric poly-(γ-benzyl glutamate)s have been prepared by polymerisation of the corresponding oligopeptide N-succinimidyl esters, which were synthesised by conventional methods. The polypeptides had molecular weights (Mn) between 15,000 and 45,000.
