Resolution and optical stability of tetrabenzocyclo-octatetraene derivatives

Abstract

The tetrabenzocyclo-octatetraene derivative (2) has been partially resolved, and a lower limit for the barrier to racemization of 45 kcal mol–1 has been determined.
