The heterocyclic bisphosphine (CF3PCF2)2

Abstract

Bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphine reacts with dimethylzinc at 0–25° to form the new four-membered ring compound (CF3PCF2)2, apparently the first example of the P–C–P–C heterocycle.
