Rotation of the benzene rings in paracyclophane derivatives, studied by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy

Abstract

The rates of rotation of the benzene rings in [m,n]paracyclophanes having suitable substituents on the aliphatic bridges may be measured by n.m.r. lineshape methods.
