X-Ray crystal structure of a dimeric silver(I) complex containing short metal–metal separations

Abstract

X-Ray analysis of bis(3-hydroxy-4-phenyl-2,2,3-trimethylcyclohexanecarboxylato)disilver(I) dihydrate shows that it contains centrosymmetric bridged dimers with short silver–silver distances of 2·778 and 2·834 ± 0·005 Å.
