Three microwave transitions, J→J+ 1, have been observed for the molecules 79BrF5 and 81BrF5 from which the C4ν symmetry of the molecule has been confirmed. Values have been obtained for the rotational constants, centrifugal distortion constants and quadrupole coupling constants.
