Rate coefficient (constant) of non-equilibrium chemical reactions

Abstract

The structure of the rate factor k for a chemical reaction has been studied. Using electronic computers rate factors have been calculated for various energetical characteristics of reacting systems. Various nonequilibrium distributions and the case of a molecular model incorporating internal degrees of freedom have been considered. Generalized (nonequilibrium) chemical kinetic approaches are examined and the applicability limits of Arrhenius kinetics discussed.
