Proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of phosphorus-containing esters with transition-metal ions

Abstract

Decoupling of phosphorus and hydrogen nuclei in the proton n.m.r. spectra of phosphorus-containing esters has been observed upon the addition of a paramagnetic complexing agent. With increased concentrations of the complexing agent loss of all structure in the signals from the ester moieties is observed.
