Phytochemical examination of the lichen, Lecanora rupicola(L.) Zahlbr

Abstract

The natural products isolated from Lecanora rupicola include three depsides, lecanoric acid (I), atranorin (II), and chloroatranorin (III); two depsidones, norstictic acid (IV) and variolaric acid (V); roccellic acid (VII), and D-arabitol. In addition, two new compounds were isolated: the chlorochromone, sordidone (VI), and a lactonic acid, C17H30O4.
