The conversion of gibberellin A13 into some δ-lactones related to gibberellin A15

Abstract

Gibberellin A13(9) has been converted into the methyl ester of 2-oxogibberellin A15(3) and into some related δ-lactones. Some reactions of 1 α,4a α-dicarboxylic acid anhydrides derived from gibberellin A13 are described.
