The sodium–barium phase diagram

Abstract

The phase diagram for solutions containing up to 44 atom % of barium in sodium has been determined from breaks in resistivity–temperature curves. This technique is believed to be more sensitive than others employed previously, and details of the phase diagram obtained from resistivity measurements (e.g. the eutectic, peritectic, and peritectoid) are compared with published data.
