Molecular structure of bis(triphenylphosphine)alleneplatinum

Abstract

X-Ray structure analysis of Pt(PPh3)2(C3H4) shows that, unlike in other transition-metal–allene complexes in which allene is perpendicular to the co-ordination plane, allene is in the co-ordination plane.
