Silylated and germylated polyarsines

Abstract

The reaction of trisilyl- or trigermyl-arsine with chloro(dimethyl)arsine leads to the formation of pentasilylcyclopenta-arsine, (SiH3As)5, or pentagermylcyclopenta-arsine, (GeH3As)5, respectively; these are the first examples of metalloid-substituted polyarsines.
