Sulphur tetrafluoride–lithium hexafluoroisopropylidenimine rearrangement reactions

Abstract

The isolation of a series of new sulphurdi-imides indicates that irreversible stepwise replacement of labile fluorine atoms accompanied by extensive rearrangement readily occurs during the reaction of SF4 with LiN[double bond, length as m-dash]C-(CF3)2.
