Triethylenediamine-induced Ramberg-Bäcklund rearrangement of αα-dichlorodibenzyl sulphones

Abstract

Diphenylthiiren 1,1-dioxides or diphenylacetylenes may be isolated in high yields from the triethylene-diamine-induced Ramberg-Bäcklund rearrangement of αα-dichlorodibenzyl sulphones.
