The determination of uranium by atomic-absorption spectrophotometry

Abstract

The determination of uranium by atomic-absorption spectrophotometry is complicated by significant interference effects and demands critical control of fuel composition and burner adjustment. For the determination of uranium in uranium-based nickel-uranium catalysts a solvent-extraction method was used to avoid the matrix effects.
