Electron spin resonance spectra of some N-substituted 2-amino-1,4-napthosemiquinones

Abstract

The electron spin resonance spectra of five N-substituted 2-amino-1,4-naphthosemiquinones have been studied in solution in i-propanol. Certain features are common to all of the spectra and allow partial assignments of the hyperfine coupling constants to be made. A close correlation between the 14N coupling constants and those of the amino protons is noted.
