Sulphonohydrazides and related compounds. Part XII. Some arylsulphonyl derivatives of carbonohydrazide and related hydrazides

Abstract

Fourteen arylsulphonyl derivatives of carbonohydrazide, and oxalic, malonic, succinic, and glutaric acid dihydrazides have been prepared by condensation of the dihydrazide with the appropriate sulphonyl chloride, as potential herbicides. The acid dihydrazides were characterised by preparation of the benzylideneacetone hydrazones.
