Sesquiterpenes of Lauraceae plants. Part II. Neosericenine, a component of the leaf of Neolitsea sericea Koidz

Abstract

Neosericenine, an isomer of sericenine (I), has been isolated from the leaf of Neolitsea sericea Koidz. and its structure (IV) has been elucidated. The stereochemistry of a Cope rearrangement product of sericenine, isosericenine (III), was also clarified.
