Optical rotatory dispersion and circular dichroism. Part LXVI. 2-Halogenoalkanes

Abstract

C.d. and o.r.d. curves have been measured for nine (2R)-halogenoalkanes. A correlation has been established between the absolute configuration of these compounds and the sign of the Cotton effect.
