A series of amino-alcohols related to Benzhexol (1-cyclohexyl-1-phenyl-3-piperidinopropan-1-ol)

Abstract

A series of amino-alcohols related to Benzhexol (III) has been prepared in which the cyclohexyl group has been replaced by a phenyl or phenylethynyl group and the piperidine ring by a diethylamino- or dimethylamino-group. Some of the new compounds have an additional ketone, alcohol, or ester group at position 2 with alcohol, ether or ester group at position 1.
