Sesquiterpenes of Lauraceae plants. Part I. Components of Neolitsea aciculata Koidz

Abstract

Sesquiterpenes of Neolitsea aciculata Koidz. of the family Lauraceae were investigated. Ten furan sesquiterpenes were isolated from the root and trunk, five of which are known [linderane (I), isolinderalactone (II), linderalactone (III), zeylanine (VI), and neolinderane (VIII)], and five previously unknown [named litsealactone (IV), litseaculane (V), zeylanane (VII), pseudoneolinderane (IX), and linderadine (X)]. The stereostructures of the new compounds were elucidated
