SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
A series of cyclopentadithiophenones (I–VI) has been synthesised and a preliminary study of their chemical properties is reported. The last step in the synthetic schemes is an Ullmann ring closure of the appropriate dihalogenodithienyl ketone.
