Spin–spin coupling in secondary amines. The first observation of coupling by amine protons in strongly basic amines

Abstract

H–N–C–H spin–spin coupling has been observed in samples of dimethylamine, diethylamine, and N-methylaniline which have been carefully dried over sodium–potassium alloy.
