The effect of solvent on the dissociation of tris(triphenylphosphine)chlororhodium

Abstract

The dissociation of [Rh(Ph3P)3Cl] to Ph3P and [Rh(Ph3P)2Cl] occurs quite readily in benzene but is completely inhibited by the presence of even small amounts of alcohol.
