Photochemical nitrosation of halogenohydrocarbons

Abstract

Dichlorofluoronitrosomethane and chlorodifluoronitrosomethane have been prepared by photochemical reaction of nitrosyl chloride with the corresponding chlorofluorohydrocarbons, but trifluoronitrosomethane and nitrosoformyl fluoride could not be made by analogous reactions.
