On the sign of the 119Sn quadrupole interaction in the Mössbauer spectra of Me2SnCl2, Me2SnMoO4, and SnO2

Abstract

Previously reported conclusions regarding the nature of the charge distribution about 119Sn in Me2SnCl2 and Me2SnMoO4 are shown to be in error; the claim that ΔE for 119Sn in SnO2 is ⩽ 0·2 mm/sec is unwarranted.
