An X-ray three-dimensional analysis of di-µ-ethylthiolatobis(ethyltrithiocarbonato)dinickel(II) shows the compound to consist of dimers having a wedgeshaped conformation with square planar co-ordination of S around Ni and an intermetallic bond.
