The X-ray crystal structure of thallium tetrametaphosphate, Tl4P4O12

Abstract

Crystal structure analysis of Tl4P4O12 shows it to consist of tetrameric ring anions P4O124– of symmetry [4 with combining macron](S4): thallium atoms in two different sites form O ⋯ Tl ⋯ O bridges between the rings.
