3-Aza-bicyclo[3,3,1]nonanes are synthesized via the reaction of the pyrrolidine enamine of N-toluene-p-sulphonylpiperidone and α-bromomethylacrylate: the stereochemistry of the adduct and some of its transformation products is discussed.
