Fluorine nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of compounds containing nitrogen-14 atoms

Abstract

The 19F nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of [graphic omitted] and [graphic omitted] over a range of temperature are described. CF3 band-shapes are analyzed in terms of the varying rate of quadrupolar relaxation of the attached nitrogen atom. Also reported are ambient temperature chemical shifts for these and similar compounds.
