1,3-Addition reactions of cyanogen di-N-oxide

Abstract

Cyanogen di-N-oxide reacts, through a double 1,3-dipolar addition, with o-aminophenols, and 1,2-dithiols to give good of the yields of the corresponding heterocyclic dioximes. The spectral data of the compounds are discussed in relation to their structure.
