The novel systems, 5H-1,4-benzodithiino[2,3-b]indole, and 13H-1,4-benzodithiino[2,3-b]pyrido[3′,2′-g]indole, have been prepared from 1,4-benzodithiin-2(3H)-one and the appropriate hydrazine.
