Premarrubiin. A diterpenoid from Marrubium vulgare L

Abstract

A new diterpenoid (II) has been isolated from Marrubium vulgare L. It appears to be the major substrate from which marrubiin is generated as an artefact. Biogenetic implications are discussed.
