Magnetic double resonance study of selenium-77 spin coupling in diselenides

Abstract

The 77Se–77Se spin–spin coupling constant in Ph·Se·Se·CH3 is small and positive, indicating relatively high s-character for the Se–Se bond. In (CH3)2Se22J(Se ⋯ H) is positive, and 77Se chemical shifts in this and related compounds are quoted. A high-resolution 77Se INDOR spectrum is presented.
