Anisotropic electrical conduction in the halogen-bridged mixed-valence compound PdII(NH3)2Cl2·PdIV(NH3)2Cl4

Abstract

Electrical conductivity in the halogen-bridged mixed-valence compound PdII(NH3)2Cl2·PdIV(NH3)2Cl4 is 500 times greater in the direction of the cl–pdII–Cl–pdIV–Cl chains than in the direction perpendicular to these chains.
