The rearrangement during rosenonolactone biosynthesis

Abstract

The incorporation of mevalonoid hydrogen at C-1, C-5, and C-6 in rosenonolactone excludes unsaturated intermediates involving these centres during the biosynthesis of the rosane skeleton.
