Thermal elimination reactions of nitrogen and sulphur heterocycles

Abstract

Eliminations of hydrogen cyanide and nitriles in retro-diene and retro-homocycloadditions are reported and attention drawn to combined electrocyclic–cheletropic processes occurring in nitrogen- and sulphur-containing heterocycles.
