Rotational barriers about phosphorus–nitrogen bonds
Abstract
Studies of the low-temperature n.m.r. spectra of compounds R1PCl·NR22, and of analogous fluorinated and P(O) compounds, suggest a pπ–dπ contribution to the PN rotational barrier.
