Induced optical rotation and circular dichroism of symmetric and racemic aliphatic carbonyl compounds

Abstract

The intermolecular asymmetric perturbation of a symmetric chromphore, (induced optical rotatory power), was observed as circular dichroism of achiral carbonyl compounds in chiral media.
