The determination of calcium in chrome refractories by atomic-absorption spectroscopy

Abstract

A method is described for the determination of 0·40 to 8·0 per cent. of calcium in chrome refractories by atomic-absorption spectroscopy. Separation of those elements which interfere chemically is not necessary if lanthanum is added to suppress their interference.
