Auto-oxidation of lanostenyl acetate: the major peroxides

Abstract

The two main hydroperoxides from the auto-oxidation of lanostenyl acetate in ethyl acetate at 50° after 14 days, are the 7 β-hydroperoxy- and the 11 β-hydroperoxy-derivatives. Six minor peroxides are also present.
