Abstract

O-(2-Pyrrolylcarbonyl)virgiline and a compound which we designate 2,3-dehydro-O-(2-pyrrolylcarbonyl)virgiline (I) have been found in the leaves of the Fijian plant Readea membranaceae Gillespie.
