Proton magnetic resonance spectra of cinnolines. Part II. Alkylated derivatives of 4-substituted cinnolines

Abstract

The n.m.r. spectra of a series of alkylated 4-hydroxycinnoline compounds have been studied, and proton assignments have been allocated by the use of model reference systems. The relative values of the chemical shifts in various solvents are discussed, together with the influence exerted by the substituents.
