Determination of the signs of the 14N–H spin–spin coupling constants in trimethyl vinyl ammonium bromide by heteronuclear magnetic double resonance

Abstract

The signs of the 14N–H coupling constants in trimethylvinylammonium bromide relative to the geminal H–H coupling constant have been determined by heteronuclear double resonance, and the results are shown to be in harmony with the predictions made by previous investigators.
